It’s time to rebuild!
Sounds exciting, right?
While losing your home was a traumatic
experience, designing and rebuilding
your home can be one of the most
exciting and enjoyable acts of a
lifetime! Just think... Maybe you want
to add a new room, expand your master
bath, how about a larger kitchen? Ooh!
New tile! How about an entertainment
room? The possibilities are endless! It
is also understandable that you want to
put this behind you and get started
getting your life back to normal as soon
as possible. But if you fail to
research, investigate and plan your
rebuilding process, the potential for
another disaster is likely. You could
lose thousands of dollars before you
know it. Fortunately, we have been
working hard to help you understand the
complexities of the rebuilding process
and be aware of many of the pitfalls in
the process that you may soon encounter.
We decided to publish this resource
guide to accomplish this. So we pulled
together hundreds

 |
of local
professionals; your friends and
neighbors that are experts in
the construction field, building
departments, financial,
insurance and legal fields, etc
to help us. Then we verified
that the contractors in this
resource guide were licensed,
bonded, adequately insured and
are carrying worker’s
compensation as required by
state law. Next we compiled this
comprehensive list of resources
and stuffed them into this handy
resource guide. This should help
get you through the rebuilding
process the smart way -I nformed
and ready to confront many of
the scams that revictimized some
of the fire survivors from the
past.
